Description This full-time clinician educator position includes: clinical care, teaching of residents and medical students as well as other academic pursuits and educational and research opportunities. Responsibilities for the position include providing outpatient general pediatrics clinical services for UT Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists (ULPS). Teaching duties entail leading the resident outpatient rotation, including designing and maintaining curriculum, scheduling, and overseeing this rotation. This is a non-tenure position. Responsibilities Responsibilities include education and teaching, research and clinical care, including supervision of residents and students. Responsibilities include leading the outpatient general pediatrics rotation for pediatric and med-peds residents, to entail designing and maintaining curriculum, scheduling, and overseeing all aspects of the rotation. Clinical supervision of students, residents, and fellows. May include supervision of advanced practice providers. Qualifications Requires an MD or equivalent degree Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatrics. Must be able to obtain a State of Tennessee medical license Departmental Preferences: Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatrics. The opportunity to join an established clinical team within the Division of General Pediatrics, providing high quality, evidence-based care in a certified medical home. Clinical and didactic teaching. Opportunities to conduct clinical QI and research projects. Opportunities for leadership in medical education within the division.
