    "description": "<p>We are seeking an experienced clinical leader to lead our inpatient ward team, providing direction and support to both nurses and healthcare assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high quality patient care while guiding a cohesive, high-performing team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>As the Charge Nurse Manager – Ward, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the ward, support staff development and performance, and ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-focused environment. Working collaboratively across the hospital, you will drive service improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of clinical care, safety and compliance.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You</span></p>\n<p>You are an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and supporting team development.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand, either as a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid New Zealand work visa</li>\n<li>At least 4–5 years’ post-graduate experience in a surgical or procedural setting</li>\n<li>Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)</li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership or senior nursing experience</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in a private healthcare environment</li>\n<li>PDRP Level 4 (Expert) or postgraduate study</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we can offer you</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive salary package </li>\n<li>Ongoing training and development opportunities</li>\n<li>Access to wellbeing initiatives</li>\n<li>Celebrate success with regular recognition programs</li>\n<li>Recharge with planned time off over Christmas and New Year</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About us</span></p>\n<p>Ormiston Hospital is a private surgical hospital with a commitment to our patients to provide clinical excellence and superior service.
