Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li data-path-to-node=\"13,0,0\">Dismantling pallets using multiple types of equipment, specifically industrial bandsaws.</li><li>Partnering with team members to operate production equipment with precision to provide consistent quality.</li><li>Performing daily inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.</li><li>Controlling and adjusting equipment settings as needed for various pallet types.</li><li>Evaluating pallet components to determine usability and ensuring they meet PLA quality grades.</li><li>Stacking and storing reusable components in designated areas while properly disposing of waste.</li><li>Maintaining an established production rate to ensure efficiency and safety goals are met.</li><li>Maintaining a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift to reduce accidents.</li><li>Escalating technical and process issues to leadership immediately.</li><li>Complying with all PLA policies and procedures, as well as federal and state safety rules.</li><li data-path-to-node=\"13,10,0\">Consistent and reliable attendance at work is an essential function of this job.</li></ul><h3 data-path-to-node=\"15\">What We&#39;re Looking For:</h3><ul><li data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\">Previous experience in pallet repair, woodworking, or construction preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of saw operation, including maintenance and safe use of industrial saws, preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and imperfections in wood.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced assembly line environment while meeting daily production goals.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.</li><li>Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.</li><li data-path-to-node=\"16,7,0\">High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.</li></ul><h3 data-path-to-node=\"18\">Physical Requirements:</h3><ul><li data-path-to-node=\"19,0,0\">Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods at an assigned station.</li><li>Capable of repeatedly lifting, pushing, and pulling 75 pounds or more throughout the workday.</li><li>Requires excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery.</li><li>Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety alarms in a noisy environment.</li><li data-path-to-node=\"19,4,0\">Excellent vision for inspecting pallet components and operating machinery safely.</li></ul><h3 data-path-to-node=\"21\">Work Environment:</h3><ul><li data-path-to-node=\"22\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
