This position primarily supports an Afterschool Program in partnership with Downey Unified School District. The BCBA will design, implement, and evaluate behavior analysis interventions and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and other behavioral challenges. The BCBA will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavior change and improve the overall quality of life. The BCBA will also manage paraeducators and conduct orientations and training.</em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties/Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Act as the liaison between BEAM and community/district partners by collaborating with district behavioral teams to understand individual student behavior plans and communicate those plans to appropriate community/district partner staff and BEAM staff.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Promote staff and community relationships that are in the best interest of the students, BEAM, and its community partners.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Conference with staff and community partners concerning problems of student adjustment. </span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\"> Assist programs in curriculum development, curriculum implementation, and instructional improvement for behavioral programming.  </span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\"> Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the results.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target specific behaviors and promote positive behavior change.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and modify treatment plans as needed.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Provide leadership and guidance to a team of behavior aides and other professionals working with clients with developmental disabilities.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Develop, plan, and provide professional development through modeling, coaching, and instruction.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Conduct orientations and training for paraeducators to ensure their understanding of behavior intervention plans, ABA principles, and best practices.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Perform other duties as assigned by BEAM administration.</span></em></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Skills/Abilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other behavioral challenges.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques, including functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention planning.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Have and maintain appropriate certification to supervise behavior aides.</span></em></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
