Infection Prevention Manager- Indy Metro
Our leaders shape strategic initiatives, develop passionate teams, and work to improve health outcomes. Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Quality Administration leadership team in the role of Infection Prevention Manager.
Oversees infection prevention operations across healthcare facilities, including acute care and critical access hospitals, as well as consultative services for ambulatory care centers and physician offices. Ensures consistent implementation of evidence-based infection control practices, regulatory compliance, and surveillance systems across various care settings. Provides strategic guidance to facility-level Infection Preventionists, supports the development and standardization of policies and procedures, and fosters a culture of safety and quality. Coordinates regional initiatives, delivers consultative services to outpatient and ambulatory teams, and serves as a subject matter expert in communicable disease management, regulatory standards (OSHA, IOSHA, ISDH, CDC), and epidemiology. Partners closely with system-level infection prevention leadership and actively participates in shared governance committees to align regional efforts with enterprise-wide goals and drive continuous improvement in infection prevention outcomes.
This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday day shift with homebase at Methodist Hospital. This role supports the entire Indy Metro Region: Methodist Hospital, University Hospital, North Hospital, Fishers Hospital, West Hospital, all outpatient centers, and will collaborate with Riley Hospital. Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred. Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience. 3 plus years in infection prevention is preferred. Requires Certification in Infection Prevention. Completion of mentorship and leadership courses are required within the first year of hire. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.
