    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Inventory Control Analyst will work closely with AFW Management to ensure the excellence and integrity of the inventory, company-wide. The Inventory Control Analyst will verify purchase order invoices and processes to the accounting team, process and verify the merchandise on the back order report, verify and process all paperwork from the Delivery Service department, and any other report as asked by the Inventory Management team. Investigation work may require the operation of a stock picker in which all training would be paid for and provided by AFW. The Inventory Control Analyst will work coordinate and work with multiple departments, facilities, and managers to resolve inventory problems and will report all discrepancies to the Inventory Control Management team.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Professional, positive attitude with good communication and investigation skills.</li><li>Coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, and maximize efficiency.</li><li>Detail-oriented with an understanding of time management.</li><li>Team Player with the ability to follow directions while working independently.</li><li>Organized with the ability to multi-task.</li><li>Basic knowledge of Excel, iPads, and Word.</li><li>Ability to work 0 to 35 feet above the ground.</li><li>Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE).</li></ul><p><strong>Job Expectations:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Commitment to AFW’s safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to run daily warehouse reports</li><li>Create Sales back order reports</li><li>Verification, updating, and filing of daily receiving packets</li><li>Investigation of warehouse inventory issues&nbsp;</li><li>Investigation of product issues and identification</li><li>Verification of receiving discrepancies</li><li>Excellent time-management</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Help desk service tickets</li><li>Answering phones</li><li>Weekends and nights required</li><li>All training provided by AFW</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas.</li><li>Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, &amp; bend for 8 per day.</li><li>Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Work Environment:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Fluorescent Lighting</li><li>Prolong periods of sitting and standing</li><li>Concrete Flooring</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Pay range: $18-$25.30 DOE</p><p>A pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment background check must be passed on the job offer.</p><p>American Furniture Warehouse provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.</p>",
