    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Inbound &amp; Outbound Freight Specialist is responsible for coordinating inbound shipment scheduling and outbound trailer load</p><p>planning to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely flow of merchandise through the distribution center. This role supports overall DC</p><p>operations by optimizing trailer utilization, preventing bottlenecks, and aligning inbound and outbound activity with operational</p><p>capacity. The position works cross-functionally with warehouse, transportation, and inventory teams to maintain workflow</p><p>efficiency and support eCommerce and store fulfillment priorities. This role partners closely with the DC Assistant Manager to</p><p>support daily execution, align priorities, and ensure efficient flow across inbound, outbound, and eCommerce operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><p><strong>Load Planning &amp; Execution</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Plan and assign outbound loads based on delivery schedules and priorities.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Optimize trailer space and ensure safe loading practices.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Verify load accuracy including product, quantity, and destination.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coordinate staging with warehouse teams.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Communicate load details with carriers and internal teams.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Audit outbound freight to ensure accuracy of product, quantities, and destinations prior to shipment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Monitor and adjust loads to prevent delays.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Inbound Scheduling &amp; Flow Management</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Schedule inbound shipments to align with DC capacity and labor.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coordinate appointments with vendors and carriers.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Prevent dock congestion and bottlenecks.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Adjust schedules based on operational needs.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Partner with receiving teams for timely unloading.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Inventory &amp; Accuracy Support</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Resolve load discrepancies such as shortages or damages.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensure accurate WMS records.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Support inventory accuracy and corrections.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>General Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintain a safe and organized work environment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Support other DC functions as needed.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Identify process improvements.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist leadership with daily operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong organizational and time management skills.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>High attention to detail and accuracy.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to analyze and resolve operational issues.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
