    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/css/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">REMSA was established to oversee Care Flight and REMSA Health operations and to coordinate emergency medical service activities through a central emergency medical communications center. REMSA Health answers to its Board of Directors with responsibility to the Washoe County District Health Department.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Within this general framework, this position is accountable for the following functions:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with the Fleet Manager to maintain a fleet of emergency ambulances, and other company vehicles.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist the Manager in developing and maintaining a top-notch maintenance program that focuses upon the continued safe and reliable operation of the fleet.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform all necessary repairs, checks and preventative maintenance that is required up to and including major overhauls.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Always maintain a clean and safe work area.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist the Manager in educating the operators about the various functions of the vehicles.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Become familiar and be able to repair to applicable standards all interior non-medical equipment such as gurneys, fasteners, lifts, and emergency warning devices.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Always be courteous and helpful to employees and represent the organization in a professional manner.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned. </li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications/ Experience Requirements</strong></p></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3-5 years&rsquo; experience as a professional mechanic required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">EPA 609 Certification required within six months of hire.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">OSHA 10-hour&nbsp;required within six months of hire.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">ASE A4/A5 certification within 24 months of hire.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete internal training modules A1-A8 within 18 months of hire.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">A valid and clear Nevada or California Driver license.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to operate common shop hand and power tools.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-starter requiring little oversight.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and make practical applications of shop manuals and manufacturer bulletins.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to operate simple computer programs and modern vehicular diagnostic equipment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">EMS vehicles must be maintained to &ldquo;aircraft standards&rdquo; and the incumbent must be able to perform preventative maintenance and checks to assure the best reliability possible.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be adaptable to change and be able to function in a team-based environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Forklift</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
