East Coast Golf Management, Inc. (ECG), is now hiring a full-time 1 st Assistant Golf Professional at our International Club location in Murrells Inlet, SC!
We offer membership of our travel club as a benefit to every employee after their first few months. This includes:

POSITION SUMMARY
The 1st Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for greeting customers as they sign in to play golf. The Assistant Golf Pro will assist in the opening & closing duties of the shop provide outstanding customer service to all players and manage a clean, accurate tee sheet and customer profile. The Shop Assistant collects green fees, seasonal dues and is responsible for the cleanliness, stocking and security
of the shop.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The 1st Assistant Golf Pro:
Supervision of all outside bag drop operations, player assistants, starters, and Pro Shop Employee Scheduling
Organizing and Running Golf Tournaments and events for the Golf Club
Answer and direct all incoming calls, take messages and deliver when appropriate
Greet and direct all visitors; ask all players to sign in
Inform players of course conditions (cart path only, reason for brown patches, etc.)
Readies club cars for rental to customers
Maintains a constant presence in the pro shop
Empties trash throughout the Pro Shop and Pro Shop offices daily
Dust pro shop, clean, stock, ensure all surfaces and displays are clean and attractive
Liaison between Tournament Staff, Player Assistants, Starter and General Manager. Will
Effectively communicate and coordinate information between all areas of the golf operation.

Knowledge of the rules of golf
Cash register experience extremely helpful
