          "text": "<p><strong>OVERVIEW</strong></p><p>This Business Controller position is responsible for the financial activities of the Ecom Channel for Salomon in the US and Canada. As a key member of the Business Controlling Team, these responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>The implementation of GTM strategy and steering the Ecommerce GTM teams towards achieving profitable growth targets.</li><li>The on-going definition, development and reporting within the Ecommerce organization.</li></ul><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Business Controlling – Planning &amp; Control</strong><ul><li>Manage all aspects of the GTM financial budgeting and forecasting process by working with regional sales, finance, &amp; commercial management and the global finance and commercial teams.</li><li>Financial and business planning, steering &amp; monitoring performance and optimizing operating capital.</li><li>Prepare, analyze and report financial results – sales trends, product gross margins, average net selling price analysis, average cogs, direct operating expenses and inventory and balance sheet items</li><li>Analyze GTM results versus budget, forecast and prior year (sales, margins, operating expenses and inventory management) and drive actions needed to meet financial targets &amp; overall GTM objectives</li><li>Sign off on month end processes including journal entries, OPEX control and GM analysis in SAP.</li><li>Provide financial impact analysis of Ecom KPIs/discounting structures including:<ul><li>Traffic/ AOV/ Conversion/ Returns</li><li>End of life discounting</li><li>Warranty analysis</li></ul></li></ul></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li><strong>Financial Reporting and Analysis</strong><ul><li>Managerial and legal reporting using OneStream management reporting</li><li>Conduct monthly financial reviews &amp; governance meetings with Commercial Leadership &amp; GTM teams</li><li>Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis of financial data to support decision making on channels, customers, programs, etc.</li><li>Enhance management reporting to improve communication of critical information and maintain accountability for financial performance, to individuals at all levels in the organization.</li><li>Perform internal and external benchmark analysis on key business areas and identify opportunities to improve operations and deliver more profitable growth.</li></ul></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li><strong>Support Sales and Operational Planning Process</strong><ul><li>Inventory management/working capital analysis &amp; forecasting</li><li>DSI/inventory turnover/sell-thru analysis</li><li>Replenishment order review and analysis</li><li>Primary Finance liaison with Ecom Merchandising and Marketing teams</li></ul></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li><strong>Be curious and think about the business as if you owned it</strong></li></ul>",
