Description The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta is pleased to invite applications from academic radiologists for a tenure-track position. Applications from qualified radiologists with a strong interest and proven scholarship in imaging are welcome. The Faculty seeks expertise that complements its existing strengths. The successful candidate will initiate, lead, and collaborate in research activities, compete for external research funding, contribute to the Department’s undergraduate and graduate programs, including teaching and assisting with administration. The candidate selected is expected to be appointed as a faculty member at the level of assistant professor. Successfully compete for research funding and maintain an active, independent research program that contributes to the department's academic strength. Conduct impactful collaboration research with potential partners such as Alberta Transplant Institute, Cancer Research Institute, Cardiovascular Research, Neuroscience and Mental Health, and Women and Children's Health Research Education and Mentorship: Teach and mentor learners at all levels in clinical and academic settings. Collaboration and Engagement: Work closely with other programs, interdisciplinary teams, and healthcare professionals to advance care and the education of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Pediatric trainees. Qualifications M.D. and FRCPC with subspecialty expertise and proven scholarship in diagnostic imaging. Eligible for licensure as a radiologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Alberta.
