With more than 40 offices around the world, we offer insights and expertise to investors, companies and governments.</span></p>\n<p><span><b>Role</b></span></p>\n<p><span>The Tax Counsel &amp; Advisory group seeks a highly motivated individual who will support various front office business units and assist with research and planning. Responsibilities include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Assist with domestic and international planning.</span></li>\n <li><span>Support various front office business units, including analyzing and structuring transactions, drafting legal documentation and memoranda, advising on reputational risk, and advising senior business leaders on tax matters.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist with transfer pricing strategy, planning and defense.</span></li>\n <li><span>Analyze new products and business lines for tax issues.</span></li>\n <li><span>Advise on information reporting and withholding matters relating to the firm’s brokerage businesses.</span></li>\n <li><span>Advise on tax matters related to the firm’s joint ventures and merchant banking portfolio.</span></li>\n <li><span>Advise on new tax legislation and guidance that may impact the Firm.</span></li>\n <li><span>Advise on IRS audit matters.</span></li>\n <li><span>Advise on tax equity/clean energy investments.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist with additional ad-hoc projects as they arise.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><b>Qualifications</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>JD with at least four years of relevant experience at a major law firm or accounting firm.</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience in taxation of financial products, U.S. international tax, subchapter C, tax equity and U.S. information reporting.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to learn new areas and concepts quickly.</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to build, develop and maintain solid working relationships throughout various businesses and corporate departments.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>Primary Location: New York Full Time Salary Range of $200,000-$225,000</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>#LI-MB1</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
