          "text": "<p>In partnership with the health services team, the Caregiver is responsible for assisting the resident in all areas of care as assigned by the Director of Assisted Living, or designee.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Adheres to and conveys the SRG philosophy of person-centered care and Genuine Hospitality.</p><p>• Maintains a professional appearance, manner, and approach while on duty.</p><p>• Wears name tag, uniform, and adheres to SRG cell phone policy.</p><p>• Reports to work on time and as scheduled per community policies and procedures</p><p>• Receives report from the previous shift, reads Care Staff Assignment and End of Shift report for information and changes before providing resident care.</p><p>• Documents care given via CareStream; adhering to policies and procedures.</p><p>• Provides report to oncoming shift and documents on the End of Shift Report and CareStream before going off shift.</p><p>• Completes incident reports when needed. • Sign out and carry equipment such as radio, tablet, and keys at onset of shift.</p><p>• Answers resident call lights, door, and resident alarms promptly.</p><p>• Provides resident assistance with activities of daily living, encouraging, and promoting residents’ self-care to the extent possible as needed or assigned.</p><p>• Encourages and assists residents in individual and group program activities.</p><p>• Assist residents with meals, housekeeping, and laundry services as needed, requested or assigned.</p><p>• Maintains a clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.</p><p>• Provides high quality resident care and recommends ways to improve quality.</p><p>• Observes for changes in resident physical or mental status and communicates to the Director of Assisted Living, LVN/LPN, and/or manager on duty.</p><p>• Responds promptly to residents, staff, or visitor emergencies, follows policies and procedures.</p><p>• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows policies and procedures for infection control.</p><p>• Familiar with fire, missing resident, and other emergency procedures; follows community policy and procedures detailed in the fire and disaster plans.</p><p>• Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality with resident and family information.</p><p>• Attend and participate in training and team meetings as assigned.</p><p>• Other duties as assigned</p>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Required Skills/AbilitiesEducation/Experience/Physical Demands:</strong></p><ul><li>Good physical and mental health</li><li>Basic reading and writing skills and ability to speak English</li><li>Good communication skills.</li><li>Able to promote a positive working environment and encourage teamwork</li><li>Good interpersonal and customer service skills.</li><li>Good organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Experience with Yardi, eMAR, Schedule Pop, ADP, and/or other relevant platforms.&#xa0;</li></ul><ul><li>C.N.A. or experience as a caregiver.</li><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>First Aid / CPR certification required</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods.</li><li>Ability to push and pull objects, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis (occasionally up to 50 pounds, unassisted).</li><li>Full use of hands, arms, and legs (for washing, bathing, assisting in feeding, and dressing residents, writing notations, operating vacuum cleaners, light housekeeping in resident rooms and bathrooms, etc.)</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to body fluids, infection, odors, and behavior of residents.</li></ul>",
