    "description": "<p>Orchid Development operates as a division within the Flowers Group of Companies. It is responsible for managing various rental properties, including Cricket Square, Flowers Apartments, Middle Ground Apartments, Eucalyptus Building, and Orchid Village.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</span></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain tools and equipment</li>\n<li>Liaise and coordinate with tenants and other team members to complete tasks safely and in a timely manner</li>\n<li>Check premises and ensure Field Safety and Quality Control guidelines are adhered to</li>\n<li>Monitor mechanical equipment such as chiller plant, commercial a/c units, fuel tanks, sewage treatment plants for alarms and reporting to management</li>\n<li>Monitor general building cleaning/general maintenance works</li>\n<li>Monitor/inspect property in general, i.e., windows, floors, stairs, grounds and reporting all issues to management</li>\n<li>Maintain and repair simple machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings</li>\n<li>Fix or replace faulty electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers under supervision of skilled electrician</li>\n<li>Assemble and set up machinery or equipment with supervision of skilled technician</li>\n<li>Do general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and properties</li>\n<li>Order supplies from catalogues and storerooms</li>\n<li>Assist Contractors to go inside the tenant’s space – prior for approval of tenants</li>\n<li>Keep detailed records of work, i.e., daily completed tasks/ accomplishments</li>\n<li>Receive CICA deliveries with the help of general labour staff</li>\n<li>Do set up of events for Brasserie and assist Brasserie team as needed</li>\n<li>Monitor contractors working inside the premises and assist as needed</li>\n<li>Assist and provide materials needed for maintenance team as instructed by Supervisor</li>\n<li>Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specification and established standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Specific Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for daily activities at the warehouse including cleanliness and security</li>\n<li>Coordinate and schedule the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of goods and materials</li>\n<li>Source material from hardware stores, review cost and obtain necessary approval to purchase</li>\n<li>Purchase material and necessary tools and be responsible for the collection from local stores</li>\n<li>Check orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy</li>\n<li>Implement daily production and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse</li>\n<li>Maintain records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation</li>\n<li>Ensure basic maintenance standards follow health and safety regulations</li>\n<li>Perform a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds and office areas</li>\n<li>Coordinate with maintenance on daily needs and assist with inspection and monitoring of all facility and equipment</li>\n<li>Assist the maintenance group with various tasks when demand is low in the warehouse</li>\n<li>Leads team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks, conveyor equipment, and specific portions of tractor-trailer and over-the-road trucks</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Education/Experience</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in this field or similar</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</span></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Field Safety and Quality Control</li>\n<li>Must be flexible and can be on-call as required; ability to work overnight and after hours for emergencies and/or in the event of storms or hurricanes</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Valid Cayman Islands Driver’s License; Group 4 license and experience with forklift operation is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:</span> Starting at KYD $11.00 per hour (equivalent to USD $13.75), plus a competitive compensation package commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.</p>",
