Full-time or part-time 2pm-10pm. All positions include weekend rotations.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PCA/HHA Overview:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Resident Care Aide - Personal Care Aide (PCA) team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing personal care support. This position is responsible for meeting the physical and emotional needs of residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse ensuring that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Resident Care Aide - Home Health Aide (HHA):</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to assist residents with Daily Living Activities as needed that may include meal assistance, grooming, medication management, showering, dressing/undressing, toileting, skin care.</li>\n <li>Ability to use hands, arms and fingers in repeated motions that include ability to feel or operate objects, tools, or controls including grasping and turning motions.</li>\n <li>Ability to move and walk quickly and steadily in an emergency situation.</li>\n <li>Ability to assist with wheelchair transport of resident(s).</li>\n <li>Ability to apply/utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.</li>\n <li>Responsible for responding immediately to residents’ requests.</li>\n <li>Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), according to their plan of care, individual needs and care preferences.</li>\n <li>Notifies Supervisor of changes in residents conditions or needs</li>\n <li>Maintains facility standards for resident care</li>\n <li>Assists with service in the dining room for all meals as needed. Maintain facility standards for service and customer focus techniques.</li>\n <li>Informs nurse responsible for the care of resident and document duties performed as necessary before leaving for break or end of shift.</li>\n <li>Observes and practices confidentiality of resident information and privacy when performing job duties.</li>\n <li>Performs assigned duties according to the service excellence standards and goals established for this position and for all staff members of this facility.</li>\n <li>Attends facility meetings, staff meetings and required or preferred in-services.</li>\n <li>Generates and develops ideas which improve the quality of care for residents or increase position productivity and satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Performs all position duties according to safety rules and practices required for this position and as required to ensure the general safety of staff, residents and visitors.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures and ability to reference them.</li>\n <li> Exhibits the highest level of customer service towards residents, staff and visitors.</li>\n <li>Consistently demonstrates the ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>From</h2>\n<h2>Up to</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Resident Care Aide - Home Health Aide (HHA) Educational Requirements and Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Eighteen (18) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.</p></li>\n <li>Certification by an approved basic training program in home health aide services approved by the Department of Health and possess written evidence of such certification. </li>\n <li>Must maintain current annual skills testing approval. </li>\n <li>Ability to assist residents with all aspects of Daily Living Activities including bathing, toileting, and transferring. </li>\n <li>Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds; Occasional 2 person lift up to 120 pounds</li>\n <li>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
