The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site.</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour</strong></p>\n<p><strong>21+ Years of Age (C101)Supervisory Experience (C136)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>7am-3pm Monday-Friday</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at a designated location. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>A security site supervisor manages a team of security personnel to ensure a safe environment and protect people and resources. Their responsibilities include:</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Hiring and training</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Interviewing, hiring, and training security staff, including new hires and current staff. Training topics may include workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and safety and security topics.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Scheduling</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Overseeing the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Performance monitoring</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Monitoring performance and conducting daily briefings. This may include accompanying guards on patrols to assess their performance and verify adherence to security rules.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Incident response</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Responding to incidents, monitoring CCTV and security systems, and performing regular patrols to identify potential breaches.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Liaison</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Liaising with the on-site manager and staff to provide advice and receive feedback.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Policies and procedures</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Establishing and carrying out policies and procedures required by the organization.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Record keeping</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Keeping diligent records to document all security-related instances that occur at their place of employment.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Training programs</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Working with security managers to create training programs so that all security guards can have the knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Continuous training</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Giving continuous training for current equipment or instructing employees on how to use newly adopted technology</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal®. personnel assigned to his/her site)</li>\n <li>Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met</li>\n <li>Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS</li>\n <li>Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift</li>\n <li>Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)</li>\n <li>Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.</li>\n <li>Respond to client requests</li>\n <li>Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders</li>\n <li>Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties</li>\n <li>Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel</li>\n <li>Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management</li>\n <li>Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders</li>\n <li>Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle</li>\n <li>Must possess one or more of the following:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard</li>\n  <li>Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets</li>\n  <li>Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry</li>\n  <li>Associate's degree or higher in any discipline</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)</li>\n <li>Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public</li>\n <li>Effective oral and written communication</li>\n <li>Problem solving</li>\n <li>Active listening</li>\n <li>Assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately</li>\n <li>Compile, sort, and interpret data</li>\n <li>Research, investigate, compile information</li>\n <li>Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy</li>\n <li>Write informatively, clearly, and accurately</li>\n <li>Teamwork</li>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Meets basic qualifications for Custom Protection Officer</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions </li>\n <li>Schedules that fit with your personal life goals</li>\n <li>Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities</li>\n <li>Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more…</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Closing</h2>\n<p>Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
