If so, <strong>Embark at Sunrise </strong>invites you to join our team as a Life Coach/Youth Mentor, a key role in our trauma-informed,<strong> </strong>residential treatment program for adolescent girls and boys ages 12-17.</p>\n<p>At Sunrise, we blend clinical excellence with heart. Set against the serene backdrop of southern Utah, our campus offers a safe, home-like environment where <strong>girls and boys ages 12–17 </strong>can heal, grow, and thrive. We specialize in relational, experiential, and evidence-based care that addresses trauma, emotional regulation, and family systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Daily Support:</strong> Guide students through daily routines while modeling positive behavior and healthy habits.</li>\n <li><strong>Therapeutic Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with therapists to implement individualized interventions and support treatment goals.</li>\n <li><strong>Communication & Documentation:</strong> Maintain thorough documentation and relay key updates to the treatment team.</li>\n <li><strong>Crisis Management:</strong> Proactively ensure client safety through prevention, de-escalation, and supportive intervention.</li>\n <li><strong>Community Engagement:</strong> Participate in group sessions, staff bonding, and house activities to foster connection and trust.</li>\n <li><strong>Home Environment:</strong> Contribute to light housekeeping and meal prep, promoting a clean, nurturing space.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Presence:</strong> Build rapport while upholding boundaries, creating a safe and respectful environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong> Must be 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.</li>\n <li><strong>Safety & Certification:</strong> Able to pass a Utah State background check and obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting.</li>\n <li><strong>Crisis Readiness:</strong> Trained or willing to be trained in CPR, First Aid, and safe restraint techniques.</li>\n <li><strong>De-escalation Skills:</strong> Confident in managing and calming agitated or combative students.</li>\n <li><strong>Relationship Builder:</strong> Strong communication skills and the ability to form healthy, supportive connections.</li>\n <li><strong>Positive Role Model:</strong> Committed to teaching and modeling strong values and respectful behavior.</li>\n <li><strong>Long-Term Commitment:</strong> Willing to commit to a minimum of 8 months in a structured, team-based environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Access to an established Mastery Program that offers professional and financial opportunities for professional growth.</li>\n <li><strong>Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance</strong> – Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Parental Leave</strong> – Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.</li>\n <li><strong>Life & Disability Coverage</strong> – Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.</li>\n <li><strong>401(k) with Company Match</strong> – Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.</li>\n <li><strong>PTO & Holidays</strong> – Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.</li>\n <li><strong>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</strong> – Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Sunrise is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</strong> We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
