You will be both a hands-on leader and a direct contributor to the safety and quality of care our clients receive every day.</p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Supervise, train, and mentor Recovery Technicians in day-to-day tasks, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive</li><li>Manage hiring, onboarding, timecard approvals, and performance evaluations to build a strong, competent team</li><li>Schedule Recovery Technicians to ensure staffing levels align with all applicable regulations and policies</li><li>Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory guidelines</li><li>Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including incident reports, shift reports, and inspection reports</li><li>Foster a positive, high-performing work environment by modeling SCADD&#39;s mission, vision, and values at all times</li><li>Perform Recovery Technician duties as needed, including:<ul><li>Orienting new clients to the facility and reviewing program rules and expectations</li><li>Completing non-clinical admission paperwork and documentation</li><li>Screening incoming client property for inappropriate items</li><li>Managing and coordinating medical, behavioral, emergency, or facility issues quickly and efficiently, notifying the appropriate authority as needed</li><li>Answering and directing incoming telephone calls</li><li>Monitoring the security of the department regularly</li></ul></li><li>Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of duties</li></ul><p><strong>What You&#39;ll Need:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role</li><li>Valid and unrestricted Driver&#39;s License and CPR Certification</li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Commitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD&#39;s values of diversity, equity, and inclusion</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p><strong>Why SCADD?</strong></p><p>Since 1966, SCADD has remained at the forefront of substance use disorder treatment, continuously evolving to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities across Southeastern Connecticut.
