    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Solar O&amp;M Technician (Level 4) is a senior technical leader responsible for ensuring the peak performance and safety of solar PV assets within the New Jersey region. This individual serves as a subject matter expert and the company's qualifying Master Electrician, providing high-level troubleshooting, oversight of complex maintenance, and mentorship to junior field staff. The Level 4 Technician balances hands-on technical excellence with regional administrative and safety authority. This role will be based out of New Jersey. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operational Leadership:</span> Exhibit a culture of operational excellence and event-free operations in all aspects of work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Guidance:</span> Provide expert technical and analytical guidance to all field staff and other departments as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">System Maintenance:</span> Perform/coordinate complex preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on solar PV systems, including modules, inverters, combiner boxes, and other electrical components.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Specialized Services:</span> Perform Commissioning and Audit services for solar electric systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety Authority:</span> Act as the Regional approval authority for PLOTO and switch plan LOTO.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reporting &amp; Documentation:</span> Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences on site. Document time, material, and travel expenses in the CMMS for the completion of daily responsibilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Advanced Troubleshooting:</span> Develop corrective action plans to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including grounding issues, wiring problems, and equipment malfunctions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mentorship &amp; Supervision:</span> Supervise or review field work and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training on proper electrical maintenance, procedures, and safety protocols.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compliance:</span> Ensure compliance with all applicable State AHJ, electrical code, safety regulations, and company standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Permitting Management:</span> Review, submit, and manage electrical permitting process for Maine to ensure compliance with state regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strategic Collaboration:</span> Collaborate with the O&amp;M Manager to optimize regional performance and identify opportunities for improvement.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Industry Knowledge:</span> Stay up to date on the latest technologies and industry best practices in solar O&amp;M.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Stakeholder Coordination:</span> Work directly with Regional Manager and third-party vendors to support project component installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Client Services:</span> Manage complex and/or unusual projects as a part of client services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Continuous Improvement:</span> Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement initiatives, including training schedules, safety plans, SOPs, and O&amp;M/Commissioning processes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Effective Communication:</span> Communicate effectively with internal team and third-party vendors to coordinate and expedite repairs and warranty claims.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Active Master Electrician License:</span> Required to serve as the company's qualifying contractor’s license holder; must remain active and in good standing throughout employment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span> Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar PV installation, operation, and maintenance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Theory:</span> Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Proficiency:</span> Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment and diagnostic tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety Capability:</span> Ability to work in 34,500VAC and 1500VDC conditions safely and independently.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Problem Solving:</span> Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schematics:</span> Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communication:</span> Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Licensing:</span> Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>The expected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000, encompassing base pay and potential incentive target opportunity.
