    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Peraton requires PC Technicians to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.  Position is located in Pearl City, HI. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The PC Technician shall provide system and network infrastructure services to operate, maintain, monitor, defend, and manage hardware, software, MAN routing and switching infrastructures, including network hardware and software.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Troubleshooting and proactively resolving technical issues.</li>\n <li>Responding to requests for technical support.</li>\n <li>Providing technical problem solving for customer support of database.</li>\n <li>Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices and peripherals, such as printers.</li>\n <li>Installing and configuring application and operating system software and upgrades.</li>\n <li>Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network connectivity issues.</li>\n <li>Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new machines.</li>\n <li>Maintaining an inventory of installed software, managing software licensing, and creating policies and procedures for upgrades.</li>\n <li>Working with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensuring that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.</li>\n <li>Analyzing and making recommendations for hardware and software standardization.</li>\n <li>Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required Qualifications: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience OR PHD with 3 years of experience OR HS with 12 years of experience OR AA with 10 years of experience</li>\n <li>DoD TS/SCI clearance or above is required </li>\n <li>DoD 8570-M IAT II</li>\n <li>At least 3 years of relevant IT experience</li>\n <li>At least 2 years of previous experience working as a PC Technician or Help Desk Technician</li>\n <li>Outstanding customer service skills</li>\n <li>Experience in hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, along with strong problem-solving and customer service skills</li>\n <li>Experience with active directory security group management, exchange distribution lists, and file share permission assignment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#SITEC2026</p>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
