Execute standardized operational and maintenance tasks requiring foundational knowledge of plant systems, including boilers, generators, control systems, and auxiliary equipment
Perform preventive maintenance activities assigned through the plant CMMS program
Help identify issues across plant systems and escalate them to the appropriate team members for resolution
Support safe work practices by helping verify compliance with Lockout/Tagout, hot work permits, job hazard analyses, confined space entry requirements, and related operational and outage procedures
Assist with plant startups, shutdowns, system checks, and emergency response activities in accordance with standard operating procedures
Support inventory management, warehouse organization, and material handling activities
Perform hands-on testing such as oil and water chemistry sampling and analysis, while supporting more experienced plant and maintenance technicians across a range of plant activities
Follow and help improve standard operating procedures and plant best practices that strengthen operational consistency, safety, and reliability
Maintain a high standard for safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory and site requirements
What We're Looking For
High school diploma, technical or vocational training, or equivalent military experience required

Working knowledge of health and safety regulations, with an understanding of environments involving hazardous energy, chemicals, and waste materials, including proper handling and storage practices
Ability to perform routine inspections, system startups and shutdowns, and emergency response procedures
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced operators and technicians
Comfortable working under direct supervision while independently managing assigned tasks and priorities

Strong attention to detail in identifying, documenting, and communicating plant issues
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Experience supporting safe work permitting and operational compliance processes
Basic understanding of energy storage or thermal process systems, including steam, boilers, and auxiliary plant systems
Bonus Qualifications
