    "description": "<h2>JOB SUMMARY</h2>\n<p>Under the general supervision of the Athletic Coordinator, Head Coach and Tribal School Principal, the Assistant Coach, will assist the Team, guiding the development of skills, strategies/tactics, and values for each grade level consistent with The Muckleshoot Tribal School mission and values.</p>\n<h2>MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the mission and vision of the Muckleshoot Tribal School and the Athletic Program</li>\n <li>Attend all school practices, games, tournaments, meetings etc.</li>\n <li>Organization, administration and coaching of the team under his/her direction.</li>\n <li>Enforce all rules of the league, state and national association as they pertain to the respective sport.</li>\n <li>Cooperate with Tribal School administration, athletic director, fellow coaches and students to promote the best interests of the entire athletic program.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain a roster of all team members.</li>\n <li>Assume responsibility for conduct of contestants in sport involved.</li>\n <li>Complete all requirements outlined by State WIAA.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in professional organizations such as the state coaches association.</li>\n <li>Assume supervisory control over all levels of teams in the program.</li>\n <li>Ensure facility regulations are understood and enforced.</li>\n <li>Emphasize safety precautions and use accepted training and injury procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain records of the team and individual accomplishments.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITION</h2>\n<p>Required: Must be 19 years of age or above: High School Diploma, any combination of experience and training which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the work and that meets federal and state requirements.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hold a valid current First Aid Certification / Hold a valid current CPR Certification</li>\n <li>Current and valid Washington state driver’s license/ Ever Safe Drivers course completed before/or after appointment</li>\n <li>Ability to meet WIAA coaching standards</li>\n <li>Previous experience coaching Native American students is preferred</li>\n <li>Member of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Knowledge of the particular sport.</li>\n <li> Ability to comply with WIAA coaching standards.</li>\n <li> Ability to exercise fairness in dealing with student athletes.</li>\n <li> Ability to motivate student athletes.</li>\n <li> Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and exemplary manner at all times.</li>\n <li> Ability to maintain poise and composure during practice and games.</li>\n <li> Ability to relate to and work with students of differing athletic abilities.</li>\n <li> Ability to establish and maintain effective work and student relationships with a variety of people in a multi-cultural, diverse socio-economic setting.</li>\n <li> Ability to maintain accurate records.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licenses or Certifications Required</h2>NA",
