Join us and be part of a team dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of patients and families every day</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>NPH is adding a <strong>Chief Financial Officer (CFO)</strong> to serve our patients and leadership team in <strong>Dayton, OH. </strong>The <strong>CFO</strong> will have oversite and accountability for overall financial operations and day-to-day fiscal management of the hospital. This is a new position due to the growth of our organization!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits of joining NPH</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation structure</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li>\n <li>NPH 401(k) plan with up to 4% Company match</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Programs</li>\n <li>Generous PTO and Time Off Policy</li>\n <li>Special tuition offers through Capella University</li>\n <li>Work/life balance with great professional growth opportunities</li>\n <li>Employee Discounts through LifeMart</li>\n <li>The chance to grow your leadership career with a dynamic organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure completion of timely and accurate monthly financial statements, including monthly operating reports, certifications, disclosures, and forecasts</li>\n <li>Balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and in compliance with company policies with variances identified and corrected</li>\n <li>Confirm accounting and business office policies and internal controls are in place for audit with no material adjustments or deficiencies found</li>\n <li>Prepares annual operating budget and participates in the annual strategic planning process, including ongoing analysis of variances from budget and implementing changes needed to achieve budget goals.</li>\n <li>Has thorough working knowledge of federal, state and managed care reimbursement methodologies to confirm accuracy of payment to facilities and recorded revenue deductions.</li>\n <li>Routinely review revenue cycle metrics to identify and address issues affecting overall performance to include: timely collection of accounts receivable, limiting uncompensated care and achieving goals for cash collections and AR days to reduce bad debt and denials.</li>\n <li>Actively involved in Front End Revenue Cycle processes to include: completed insurance verification on 100% of patients, working with the financial counselors to ensure proper determination of patient portions and, approval of any discounts or charity for logging of upfront collections.</li>\n <li>Monitors purchases to ensure supply costs are kept to budgeted levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or Clinical Discipline required. Master's degree preferred.</li>\n <li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a healthcare setting required, including experience leading hospital or facility-based financial operations (e.g., Director of Finance, Controller, or similar roles).</li>\n <li>Prior experience sering as a Chief Financial Officer or in a senior finance leadership role preferred.</li>\n <li>Completion of the NPH CFO-in-Training Program may be considered in lieu of direct CFO experience.</li>\n <li>Behavioral healthcare experience highly preferred. </li>\n <li><strong>Must live within market being served.</strong></li>\n <li>Excellent financial analysis skills.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with software packages including Excel and Word.</li>\n</ul>",
