Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their five market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.</p>\n<h2>What Drives Success</h2>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong> Stone Mountain, GA-100% onsite</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Commercial Engineering Supervisor</strong> is responsible for new product or a product family from design through production and manages a team of engineers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides leadership in collaboration with other engineering functions including design, process, production, quality, and reliability.</li>\n <li>Oversees project schedules and technical execution to ensure goals and milestones are met.</li>\n <li>Ensures all engineering activities adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations. </li>\n <li>Reviews and creates design specifications for a variety of complex components and systems.</li>\n <li>Analyzes advanced design problems using engineering and mathematical principles.</li>\n <li>Makes design changes and prepares preliminary sketches for guidance of layout drafters.</li>\n <li>Coordinates major engineering projects.</li>\n <li>Consults with other engineers concerning design specifications, manufacturing processes, legal, safety, and government requirements.</li>\n <li>Leads, mentors, directs, evaluates performance, and develops team members.</li>\n <li>Analyzes design methods to ensure performance, time and cost goals are reached to implement designs that incorporate DFMA principles.</li>\n <li>Ensures procedures and processes efficiently utilize materials and personnel.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Are Looking For</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering is preferred. </li>\n <li>At least 5 years of related work experience. Refrigeration or HVAC is preferred</li>\n <li>Excellent Leadership ability with strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Requires advanced knowledge of design techniques, tools, and DFMA principles involved in production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models.</li>\n <li>Expert understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.</li>\n <li>Experience with analytical and CAD software</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong>: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $115,000 - 151,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
