Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Hours:  The schedule for this PRN position will be a mix of day and night shift and will also include weekends.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The pay range for this position is $33.47 - $50.22/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>The Respiratory Therapist gets the opportunity to participate in daily planning via patient rounds. </li>\n <li>You'll work as part of the interdisciplinary team for the plan of care for our patients. </li>\n <li>You'll be able to increase your knowledge in orthopaedic care to improve outcomes for our amazing patients and families. </li>\n <li>Our Respiratory Therapists have the opportunity for academic growth through participation in research projects.</li>\n <li>Provides primary respiratory care to patients from admission through their discharge under a physician's order</li>\n <li>Communicates verbal and/or written patient and departmental information/special needs to pertinent persons in a timely and appropriate manner (i.e. rounds)</li>\n <li>Documents accurate, specific, complete patient care data according to policy and procedure guidelines</li>\n <li>Assures safe, cost effective operation and function of pertinent equipment and utilizes appropriate infection control techniques in all areas</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate Respiratory Therapy</li>\n <li>5 Years RT experience in ICU setting</li>\n <li>RRT</li>\n <li>License in state of  Illinois</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from American Heart Association</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2 Year Pediatric experience </li>\n</ul>",
