    "description": "<p>House Manager</p>\n<p>Position Summary: The House Manager provides oversight and support for residents within Ava Health's residential program. This role involves ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured living environment, monitoring resident activities, and facilitating positive interactions among residents.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide direct oversight and monitoring of residents to ensure compliance with program rules and house guidelines.</li>\n<li>Facilitate daily house routines, including meal times, chores, curfew compliance, and group activities.</li>\n<li>Offer support and guidance to residents, encouraging positive interactions and behaviors.</li>\n<li>Conduct routine house checks and room inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.</li>\n<li>Communicate resident concerns or incidents promptly to clinical staff and supervisors.</li>\n<li>Assist residents with accessing resources and referrals as needed.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate logs and documentation of daily activities and incidents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Skills and Competencies:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commitment to Ava Health’s core values of Agency, Service, and Purpose.</li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Strong ability to manage conflicts and enforce guidelines compassionately and fairly.</li>\n<li>Capacity to engage residents positively, encouraging community and cooperation.</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of behavioral health and substance use recovery processes.</li>\n<li>Good organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in social services or a related field preferred.</li>\n<li>At least one year of experience in a residential, behavioral health, or similar setting preferred.</li>\n<li>BLS/CPR certification required.</li>\n<li>QMAP required – can be acquired immediately after hire with additional class that Ava Health will cover – this is statewide accredited certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Additional Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining certifications.</li>\n<li>If in recovery, a minimum of 1 year of sobriety is required.</li>\n</ul>",
