Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.<br><br><strong>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><br>• Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, including wearing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus’ and Chemical Resistant PPE. <br>• Handling and change-out of gas and chemical containers.<br>• Understand how the mechanical portion of the equipment works, identify individual components included in each assembly, and perform non-invasive preventive maintenance.<br>• Perform daily rounds, including verifying purifier set points, recording readings, calibrating analytical equipment, completing safety surveys, monitoring inventory levels, and verifying monitoring systems.<br>• Primary communication point to the customer.<br>• Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.<br><br><strong>Requirements:</strong><br>• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical, or other manufacturing setting<br>• Ability to achieve a basic knowledge of Quality Management.<br>• Communicate effectively using written and verbal skills.<br>• Understanding of safe work practices and experience in lockout/tagout.<br><br><strong>Physical Effort/Activities:</strong><br>May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, and occasionally climb ladders while utilizing fall protection. The ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 pounds is required. Some tasks may require wearing a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator for short periods (10-15 minutes) while working with chemicals. PPE made available includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, and more.<br><br><strong>Additional Benefits: </strong>Paid Vacation, Select Holidays, Overtime Opportunities, On-site Facilities & Career Development Opportunities.<br><br>This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
