    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian<strong> License Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)  </strong>at <strong>Cannon Air Force Base </strong>in <strong>Clovis, New Mexico</strong>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS Certification</li>\n <li>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license</li>\n <li>LPN shall have at least 24 months of experience within the last 48 months in a primary care setting.</li>\n <li>Completion of High school or GED is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate patient care through a continuum and facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility. Provides care within ethical and legal boundaries.</li>\n <li>Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.</li>\n <li>Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Skill in setting up, operating and monitoring specialized medical equipment such as cardiac monitoring devices, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, nebulizers, and other clinic specific equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform medication administration in accordance with established protocols and scope of practice.</li>\n <li>Perform/assist with procedures such as administration of oxygen, visual acuity tests, EKGs, irrigation of eyes and ears, tympanograms, splinting, phlebotomy and other clinic specific procedures, in accordance with established protocols.</li>\n <li>Ensure for proper documentation of procedures and treatments.</li>\n <li>Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned and stored at the end of each work shift. Ensure preventive maintenance and routine cleaning are performed as directed. Ensure medication/supplies are replenished.</li>\n <li>May be required to work various shifts or augment clinical nursing support during the absence of other team nurses due to illness, leave or deployment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monday - Friday</li>\n <li>8 hour scheduled between 0700-1700</li>\n <li>10 Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Company Overview: </strong></p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
