We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Full‑Time Registered Nurse to join one of our teams. Our facility offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The RN will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in delivering high‑quality patient care and will assume responsibility for managing a selected caseload of patients as defined by the clinical practice area.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensures that patients experience reasonable, maximum relief of withdrawal and acute medical/surgical symptoms.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Delivers effective nursing care for chronic medical and psychiatric conditions, calling upon medical and psychiatric resources, as needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assess and appropriately address the medical needs of patients from any level of care, including potential admissions, as defined in the RN scope of practice.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provides medication education to clients, including intended effects and actual side effects of prescribed medications.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Evaluates clients for actual effects on a routine basis, seeking timely modification of medication orders when desired effects are not achieved and documents timely.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensures negative outcomes to withdrawal are minimized. Monitors and reports any negative outcomes, as per policy.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ensures that the covering MD/PA/APRN is notified of all pertinent information in a timely fashion.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provides behaviorally oriented nursing interventions. Calls upon psychiatric resources and performs crisis intervention, as needed.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Collaborate with physicians or APRNs to create a Plan of Care for each patient.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Documentation in patient electronic medical records via EPIC.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Must have a current Registered Nurse Connecticut State Licensure.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Minimum of associate&#39;s degree in nursing. Bachelor&#39;s degree in nursing preferred.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience as a CNA/MA or other related field is desirable for newly graduated nurses.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">CPR certification is required.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Advanced knowledge of EPIC EMRs is preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Privileging and Credentialing is a vital part of your starting at CSHHC.
