    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Baptist Health Walker Hospital</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Full Time</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Days</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse that helps with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations in the NICU.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Conducts patient assessments through interviews, health histories, physical exams, and diagnostic studies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Identifies abnormal findings and collaborates with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans.</p></li>\n <li><p>Implements patient management and therapeutic plans based on assessments, lab results, and established protocols.</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs detailed history and physical exams, triages patients, and participates in multidisciplinary rounds.</p></li>\n <li><p>Documents patient care accurately and timely, including reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provides compassionate, age-appropriate care while supporting patients and families.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborates with healthcare professionals and shares clinical expertise to ensure quality and continuity of care.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintains compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient rights while supporting quality improvement.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Training</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>CRNP Licensure (Neonatal Specialty) with Alabama State Board of Nursing</li>\n <li>NRP</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have at least one year of NP NICU Experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
