For more information, visit www.centinelamed.com.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>To provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling for Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Older Adults, and their significant others to cope with a multiplicity of social and emotional problems; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability, or trauma.  To provide case management & milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, assist in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans, work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and to coordinate discharge planning. Complete necessary documentation and maintain clinical record for each client during his/her length of stay.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<li>Master’s Degree in Social Work field OR</li>\n<li>Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy OR</li>\n<li>Master’s Degree in Professional Clinical Counseling OR</li>\n<li>In states with a licensure requirement, required upon hire and maintained current in accordance with state regulations.</li>\n<li>Minimum one (1) year Inpatient or Outpatient experience with emphasis in mental health care.</li>\n<li>Experience in working with a diverse population with a wide range of problems (i.e., death and dying, maternal and childcare, substance abuse, disability, chronic illness, etc.).</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<li>Current BCLS certificate upon hire.</li>\n<h2>Pay Transparency</h2>\n<p>Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.00 to $43.62.
