This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll architect, build, and enhance ServiceNow solutions used across a mission‑driven organization.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is short-term (7+ months), <strong>REMOTE ROLE </strong>which requires US citizenship and Public Trust eligibility required.  There is potential for the position to exceed 7+ months.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, including workflows, business rules, UI actions, and client scripts. </li>\n <li>Implement and manage modules such as <strong>ITSM, CSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, SPM/PPM, and FSM</strong>. </li>\n <li>Create and maintain integrations using <strong>REST/SOAP APIs</strong>, MID servers, and custom scripts. </li>\n <li>Work with product owners and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into ServiceNow solutions. </li>\n <li>Design and configure portal views using <strong>AngularJS, Bootstrap, and ServiceNow widgets</strong>. </li>\n <li>Support existing applications by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixes or enhancements. </li>\n <li>Lead and participate in ServiceNow <strong>upgrade and migration</strong> projects. </li>\n <li>Maintain security configurations, including <strong>ACLs, roles, and group management</strong>. </li>\n <li>Provide documentation and training to end-users and technical teams. </li>\n <li>Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to track system performance and business processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>7+ years of experience</strong> as a ServiceNow Developer. </li>\n <li>Strong understanding of the <strong>ServiceNow security model, ACLs, and user/group administration</strong>. </li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>API development, Service Portal</strong>, and <strong>Custom Applications</strong> in ServiceNow. </li>\n <li>Proficiency in <strong>JavaScript, AngularJS, Java, HTML, CSS, MySQL/SQL</strong>. </li>\n <li>Experience with ServiceNow integrations using <strong>REST/SOAP APIs</strong>. </li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with <strong>custom application development</strong> and <strong>Scoped Applications</strong>. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of <strong>ITIL frameworks and best practices</strong>. </li>\n <li><strong>ServiceNow Certified System Administrator</strong> certification (preferred). </li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p><em>Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. is a woman and minority-owned business headquartered in Chantilly, VA.
