    "description": "<p>POSITION SUMMARY:<br>Performs magnetic particle, liquid penetrant inspection, and visual inspection activities on various <br>equipment to company, customer, or regulatory requirements. Performs testing and certification of <br>customer related lifting and rigging equipment. Applies knowledge of inspection principles according to <br>customer specifications or regulation standards.</p>\n<p><br>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>• Receives and follows oral or written instructions to output completed projects. <br>• Loads and unloads material and/or rigging equipment onto or from pallets or baskets by hand, <br>or using alternative lifting equipment<br>• Operates powered industrial truck (Forklift) to stage and/or move pipe and miscellaneous <br>equipment throughout the facility. <br>• Perform Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant testing and visual inspection to all equipment as <br>directed. <br>• Applies knowledge of understanding and training to inspect material at this phase for <br>completeness and conformity to company or customer requirements. <br>• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials and distributes to proper staging area. <br>• Maintains housekeeping of general work area as directed. <br>• May be assigned to assist in other works areas as job demands dictate.<br>• May perform simple adjustments and/or repairs to equipment within work area. <br>• Secures rigging equipment in hydraulic test apparatus. <br>• Conducts pull testing as required by operating hydraulic testing apparatus. <br>• Conducts visual inspection of rigging and associated hardware. <br>• Completes necessary paperwork and turns into Office Personnel for further processing.</p>\n<p><br>OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br>• Participates in Safety and Quality programs<br>• Helps others to perform job task<br>• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. <br><br>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS<br>• The Level II Inspector position is a non-entry level position. Employees considered for this <br>position must have previous working knowledge of inspection activities related to rigging <br>hardware inspection, NDE activities related to Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant <br>inspection, or considerable equivalent experience. On the job training will be provided specific <br>to applications of company policies and procedures. <br>• Employees must possess, or qualify to successfully complete, through classroom and practical <br>examination, a certification in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and API Rigging Inspection. <br>• Completion of Core Employee Safety Orientation, Powered Industrial Truck operator training, <br>Defensive Driving, and other training as identified on SSI Employee Training Matrix. <br>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<br>• Heavy work classification<br>• Exerting 50 lbs frequently and/or occasionally <br>• Long Periods of sitting, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching<br>• Push/Pull while exerting manual force. <br>• Works Outdoors. <br>• Works with moving equipment<br>• Repetitive motions and manual handling of material<br>• Manually tightens or loosens screw type connections using overhand swing of 5lb. – 10lb. <br>mull. <br>• Works at a rapid pace<br>• Ability to clearly communicate and command of the English Language. <br>• Ability to pass an eye examination of vision and color administered by company physician.</p>",
