    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>Data Science SME Lead</strong></p><p><strong>TULK</strong> supports U.S. national security customers with cleared experts who understand the mission, the tradecraft, and the people who have to make decisions with imperfect information.</p><p>On GTLSS, TULK supports the National Geospatial-Intelligence College and related NGA mission partners by helping develop, deliver, and maintain GEOINT learning that is current, practical, and mission-relevant.</p><p><strong>Why This Role Matters</strong></p><p>This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Data Science professional who can guide a team, teach advanced mission concepts, and help shape high-quality learning for NGA and partner organizations. You will work directly with course managers, instructional developers, and mission stakeholders to keep training current, practical, and tied to real operational needs.</p><p><strong>What You Will Do</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver GEOINT tradecraft learning in classroom, virtual, and mobile training environments.</li><li>Help learners connect tradecraft concepts to realistic mission scenarios, analytic problems, and operational decision-making.</li><li>Support curriculum management, course maintenance, and course development activities in accordance with NGC guidance.</li><li>Review courseware for technical accuracy, currency, instructional effectiveness, and alignment to the assigned tradecraft area.</li><li>Participate in Integrated Development Team meetings with course managers, learning development representatives, and mission stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain required instructor certification and course qualification status.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>U.S. citizenship is required.</li><li>An active TS/SCI security clearance is required. Some positions may require additional accesses, SCI eligibility, or successful completion of a Counterintelligence-scope polygraph process as directed by the customer.</li><li>Education: A bachelor&#39;s degree from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution, related to their assigned area of expertise (i.e., Computational Thinking, Programming, Statistics, or Data Visualization).</li><li>Education: Department of Defense (DoD) Basic Instructor Certification</li><li>Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of data analytics, computer science and programming, data modeling, Artificial intelligence and machine learning.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 2 years delivering learning content to adult learners in a classroom setting.</li><li>Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience managing day-to-day activities of a team.</li></ul><p><strong>What We Value</strong></p><ul><li>Mission focus, sound judgment, and professionalism in support of national security customers.</li><li>The ability to make complex GEOINT concepts clear, useful, and relevant to adult learners.</li><li>Strong communication, preparation, and follow-through.</li><li>A collaborative approach with government, contractor, and mission partners.</li><li>A bias for practical improvements that make training better and more useful for the mission.</li></ul></div>\n",
