          "text": "<p>Join our ambitious team at LGC as an EHS Coordinator and be part of an exceptionally driven organization committed to perfect implementation and world-class standards. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our laboratories, research spaces, and operational areas. Your contributions will directly support our goal of maintaining a safe work environment while following federal, state, and local regulations.</p><p>In this role, you will coordinate with various departments to support day-to-day safety needs, conduct facility safety inspections, and manage corrective actions. You will also be instrumental in coordinating quarterly safety committee meetings. Reporting to the EHS Director, you will be a key player in our safety initiatives.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Collaborate with laboratories, research spaces, and operational areas to support daily safety needs.</li><li>Carry out safety inspections at the facility and handle corresponding corrective actions.</li><li>Coordinate and take part in quarterly safety committee meetings.</li><li>Stock GHS and Hazardous waste labels and PPE.</li><li>Inspect containers and drums for grounding/bonding and procedural compliance.</li><li>Manage Universal Waste.</li><li>Participate in Health and Safety Inspection processes.</li><li>Join the Spill Response team.</li><li>Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections and reports.</li><li>Conduct periodic testing of processes that discharge.</li><li>Manage chemical inventory and ordering.</li><li>Monitor workplace safety conditions for compliance with EH&amp;S regulations and standards.</li><li>Partner with the Safety Specialist to implement EH&amp;S policies, procedures, and practices.</li><li>Maintain EH&amp;S records, forms, and documents.</li><li>Stock EH&amp;S supplies throughout the company.</li><li>Perform monthly checks on emergency equipment (eye-wash/safety-shower, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting).</li></ul>",
