    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The Workday Application Engineer – Security serves as a subject matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance, and governance of Workday security across multiple modules. This role ensures appropriate access, data privacy, and compliance while supporting business operations, integrations, and ongoing enhancements within the Workday ecosystem.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide subject matter expertise in Workday Security, including role‑based, user‑based, and business‑process‑driven security models.</li>\n<li>Design, configure, and maintain Workday security domains, business process security policies, roles, and user assignments.</li>\n<li>Administer and support security for Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Integrations, and Data Conversion.</li>\n<li>Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including deployment, configuration, testing, and post‑production support of Workday solutions.</li>\n<li>Partner with HR, IT, Audit, and Compliance teams to ensure data privacy, segregation of duties, and audit readiness.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and resolve security‑related incidents, access issues, and audit findings in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Monitor and support interfaces, integrations, and data loads, ensuring security alignment across connected systems (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow).</li>\n<li>Participate in Agile/DevOps teams, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and change management practices.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and access governance artifacts.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with IP, data protection, and enterprise security standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong hands‑on experience in Workday Security configuration and administration.</li>\n<li>5+ years of experience as a Workday Application Engineer or equivalent role, with a strong focus on Workday Security.</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Workday HCM architecture and cross‑module security impacts.</li>\n<li>Experience with Workday tools such as:\n<ul>\n<li>Business Process Framework (BPF)</li>\n<li>Security Groups (Role‑based, User‑based, Constrained)</li>\n<li>Advanced Custom Reports</li>\n<li>EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)</li>\n<li>Workday Web Services and Integrations</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of software engineering principles and SDLC.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and root‑cause analysis.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical security concepts to business stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Workday Integrations, including Core Connectors and Studio.</li>\n<li>Exposure to ServiceNow HRSD, SAP, or other enterprise platforms integrated with Workday.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.</li>\n<li>Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, SQL, or low‑code platforms).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT WE OFFER</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.</li>\n<li>Government-mandated benefits plus supplemental HMO coverage.</li>\n<li>Collaborative and professional work environment.</li>\n<li>Career growth opportunities within a growing finance organization.</li>\n<li>Hybrid/Remote work arrangement (where applicable).</li>\n</ul>",
