    "description_html": "<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Massage Therapist is responsible for, providing massage and body treatments for guests based on specifically trained protocols and perform cleanliness, organization and sanitation duties during shifts.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Works within time limits to provide a customized spa experience for guests.&nbsp;</li><li>Must maintain 5-star service standards according to quality assurance training&nbsp;</li><li>Incorporate active retailing.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy. &nbsp;</li><li>Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service. &nbsp;</li><li>Keep up to date with current techniques and modalities related to their field of work.&nbsp;</li><li>Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.&nbsp;</li><li>Arrange workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes.&nbsp;</li><li>Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Promote and sell spa/salon services including retail offerings related to the Spa.&nbsp;</li><li>Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain current skills and licensure in service area as per regional requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.&nbsp;</li><li>500 Hours of Massage School Education and 1 year Spa experience&nbsp;</li><li>Must speak fluent English; Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients and guests&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of employee or others.
