We want people on our team who are excited about educating and empowering our clients to implement effective controls to protect their data.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements for this position. </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold a current CISSP certification at a minimum</li>\n<li>Willing to travel to the client 40% of the time</li>\n<li>A decade or more of technologist experience</li>\n<li>Exposure to the auditing function of information security as a beneficiary of audits, if not directly as an auditor</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Other traits a competitive candidate will possess: They will possess both strong technical and interpersonal skill, to effectively evaluate client information security practices, understand the perspective of the client, and communicate clearly and openly with the client and their colleagues. They will enjoy working remotely from home and travelling to clients as needed. Iron your shirt!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Quality</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Skillful in designing effective tests of controls.</li>\n<li>Must understand and interpret how risk affects a wide range of business environments. Gap analysis, anyone??</li>\n<li>Combine remediation guidance with interpersonal skill and an understanding of why clients must make necessary changes. Nobody likes a pushy auditor.</li>\n<li>Hold the CISSP certification. CISA, QSA, CRISC, GIAC, etc. are additional gravy. We love this alphabet too!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Productivity</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Energetic about coordinating simultaneous projects at differing stages. Cat herding experience preferred, but not required.</li>\n<li>Efficient with technology and keyboards. No technosaurs.</li>\n<li>Willing to travel nationwide. “I’ve just GOT to get out of this house!”</li>\n<li>Must detest a daily commute to an office. Virtual office experience is a must.
