Reporting to the </span><span>HVAC Service Manager, </span><span>you will be working with our contractors during installs, start-ups, and helping services run smoothly from day one. You’ll provide expert support in the field and over the phone, troubleshoot technical issues, and get hands-on with industry-leading products. </span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This role is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">not an on-call position</span> - regular working hours are on-site between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. </span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What You'll Be Doing </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Be the expert voice for customers on the O’Dell product lineup</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Startup and commission new systems alongside contractors, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Offer virtual or phone support to installers and technicians for assistance with wiring, piping, programming, and general troubleshooting</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Collaborate with our Sales team to assist with product layout and integration across a wide range of products</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Connect with our manufacturers to obtain technical information and support materials</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Attend customer sites to provide hands-on support during installs, commissioning, troubleshooting, and additional responsibilities as required</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Assist with processing warranty claims by working closely with contractors and our internal team to keep the process moving in a timely manner</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Travel to manufacturer facilities for in-depth product training as required</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Other responsibilities as assigned</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What You Are</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Licensed 313A Refrigeration Mechanic and G1 Gas Technician</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Trades</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Hold a valid G-class driver’s license in good standing</span><span> and clean driver's abstract</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Willing and able to travel within our service territories (territory dependent on location of hire)</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Three to five (3-5) years of experience with commercial and industrial HVAC service</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>A solid understanding of computers and Microsoft Office, including openness to learning – computers and electronics are a large part of how we support modern HVAC systems</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Strong communication skills, both verbally and written</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Detail-oriented and reliable, following through on deadlines and commitments to customers</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Dependable, punctual, and ready to lend a hand to team members</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Meet the physical requirements of the role, which include: </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Lifting up to 50lbs</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Climbing stairs and ladders, and working at heights</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Bending, pushing, pulling, and kneeling</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Sitting for long periods of time while driving</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Working in extreme temperatures (heat and cold)</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Accessibility Commitment</span></p>\n<p><span>At O’Dell HVAC Group, we’re all about building a workplace where everyone can thrive. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment in line with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>If you need accommodations during the hiring process or on the job, please contact us.
