Responsibilities:
Coordinates in-person sales and curbside pick-up orders with local customers
Assists customers in person, over the phone, via email, and through online chat
Enters customer orders and processes payments
Works with Store management to fill and ship online orders
Assists in stocking the sales floor and with stockroom maintenance
Assists in maintaining cleanliness of store
Assists with physical inventory count
Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate
Retail store and POS experience, preferably in a college bookstore or specialty store with a variety of merchandise types
Strong verbal communication skills
Reliable, professional and highly motivated individual willing to play a role within a team focused environment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (pounds)
Preferred Background:
Flare for creative product presentation and overall awareness of trends in market place
Strong interest in the performing arts, especially in the New York City area
College degree in Music, Music Performance or related field
Salary: $17.00 per hour.
