    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>JOB Title</span></span><span>: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Sunny Northwest Florida</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Position Description</span></span><span>:</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>Rally Point Management, LLC is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISS) to support advanced program operations in sunny Northwest Florida.  You can live in the spectacular area of Destin and Ft. Walton Beach, while supporting Eglin Air Force Base Electronic Warfare (EW) missions.  </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Duties and Responsibilities:   </span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Hands-on management of the unit's Cyber Security requirements.  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Review, prepare, and update AIS accreditation packages. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Coordinate changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware with the Program Management office (PMO) and organizational Program Managers (PMs). </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Notify customers when changes occur that might affect AIS accreditation/certification. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Perform AIS self-inspections, identify AIS vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Initiate requests for temporary and permanent exceptions, deviations, or waivers to PMO requirements or criteria. </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Qualification Requirements</span></span><span>:</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Must be a US citizen</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have or be able to gain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with access to SCI and SAPs.</span></li>\n<li><span>Require a BAchelor's degree with 3 years experience OR a High School Diploma with 9 years exerience OR an Associates'd degree with 7 years experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2, CASP or CAP, CISSP desirable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\"><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">In-depth knowledge of information systems (IS) supporting special access program (SAP) networks. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Knowledge of IS security concepts, principles, and practices. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Knowledge of required Collateral, SAP and sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security procedures. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Knowledgeable and experienced working with LINUX Operating System and Window OS. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4d4d4d\">Knowledge and experience executing Risk Management Framework (RMF) principles and organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity and availability, authentication, non-repudiation); knowledge and experience executing systems diagnostic tools (i.e.  STIG, SCAP, ACAS, and JSIG requirements) and fault identification techniques; vulnerability scanning; knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies; knowledge of basic system administration and operating system hardening techniques; knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides.   </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333\">Prefer strong verbal and written communication skills</span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Capacity to work as a cohesive team member</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>RPM is an Equal Opportunity Employer with a comprehensive professional benefits package.  Please apply for our vacancies from this site, from our website, or contact us from our website at https://www.RPM.LLC.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>",
