    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Create and maintain machine programs and set-up sheets for CNC machines.</li>\n <li>Perform research in hard copy and electronic drawings, as well as technical documents, to obtain information necessary to create programs.</li>\n <li>Interact with machine operators as necessary to correct/edit programs.</li>\n <li>Travel to other BIW facilities as necessary to interact with machine operators.</li>\n <li>Travel to vendor facilities on occasion for training.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Education/Training</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Machine Shop Graduate Apprentice or Associate Degree in machinist trade with minimum 5 years experience in machining/programming required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required/Preferred Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in generating CNC programs through various software systems including but not limited to Mastercam and CATIA V5.</li>\n <li>Experience in generating programs for Horizontal Boring Mills, Drills, Vertical Machining Centers, and Horizontal Lathes.</li>\n <li>Experience in Vericut program software is preferred. </li>\n <li>Experience in 5-Axis Machining is preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to react to changing tool tolerances and material changes.</li>\n <li>Possess a high level of self-sufficiency to succeed in a limited supervision environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to routinely climb three flights of stairs.</li>\n <li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li>\n</ul>",
