This role is ideal for candidates with strong Computer Vision (CV) algorithm development experience and a passion for solving complex real-world imaging challenges in a fast-paced research environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for eye tracking and iris registration applications</li><li>Improve algorithm robustness and accuracy under challenging imaging conditions</li><li>Analyze algorithm performance, edge cases, and failure modes using internal and clinical datasets</li><li>Design and prototype algorithms primarily using classical CV methods with selective ML support</li><li>Perform benchmarking, statistical evaluations, and robustness analysis</li><li>Collaborate with Applied Research and Software Engineering teams for solution development and production handoff</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or PhD preferred</li><li>Strong experience in Computer Vision algorithm development</li><li>Experience with iris detection, eye tracking, feature detection, geometry modeling, or registration algorithms</li><li>Strong Python programming skills for rapid prototyping and research development</li><li>Experience evaluating algorithm performance and debugging failure modes</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Machine Learning exposure supporting CV workflows</li><li>C++ experience for production support and integration</li><li>Background in statistics, benchmarking, and evaluation metrics</li></ul><p><strong>Soft Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Ability to work independently in an applied research environment</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
