We are committed to helping Alaskan&rsquo;s recover.</p><p><strong>About the Team</strong></p><p>The adult outpatient clinic in Fairbanks is made of a multi-disciplinary team who work together to provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare services to adults who experience mental health challenges or life stressors. Our Clinicians treat a wide range of mental health needs, including grief and loss, addictions, relationships, trauma, serious mental illnesses (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and depression) using evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.</p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Provide clinical evaluation and treatment services to assigned clients</li><li>Provide clinical oversight for non-master&#39;s staff and engage in supervision of graduate interns as required</li><li>Make referrals, treatment planning and clinical assessment and evaluation services, coordinate mental health services with other community and State Agencies, and engage in professional recordkeeping in accordance with organization standards</li><li>Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement activities to ensure that clinical services are viable and response to the mental health needs of the population served</li><li>Works as a member of a team consisting of various professional disciplines in providing services to clients in accordance with the prescribed form of treatment and maintains behavior and communications which are consistent with agency mission, goals, and chosen values</li></ul><p><strong>Good To Know</strong></p><ul><li>Position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska</li><li>Full-Time, Exempt&nbsp;</li><li>Pay Range is $73,100 to $112,350 depending on experience</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Unlicensed clinicians are eligible for $10,000 sign on bonus; licensed clinicians are eligible for a $20,000 sign on bonus and annual incentive opportunities up to 5% of your annual salary</li><li>Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available &ndash; Professional Growth is encouraged!</li><li>Clinicians participate in regular individual and group supervision and are provided with additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan.</li><li id=\"isPasted\">AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children; 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 3% automatically contributed by AKBH; 5 weeks of PTO for the first year and 8 weeks of PTO after the first year.</li><li>AKBH consistently provides both individual and group clinical licensure supervision for our behavioral health providers who are working towards their post-master&#39;s and post-doctoral clinical licenses. &nbsp;The most common licenses for therapists in Alaska are Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. &nbsp;Both require 100 hours of clinical supervision. &nbsp;Market rates for licensure clinical supervision are $150-$200 and hour. &nbsp;At 100 hours, that is a $15,000 to $20,000 value &ndash; and our staff receive it as a free benefit.</li></ul><p><strong><u>CLINICIAN I</u></strong></p><p>Responsibilities&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Evaluate crisis situations promptly and provide necessary services to effectively resolve crisis; conduct clinical evaluations to determine risk and appropriate level of care</li><li>Participate in regular individual and group supervision&nbsp;</li><li>Provide behavioral health services using evidenced-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy</li></ul><p>Qualifications&nbsp;</p><ul><li>You have a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another relevant field.&nbsp;AKBH can assist with providing licensure on site for Unlicensed Clinicians.</li><li>Pay Range is $73,100 to $89,000 depending on experience.
