This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement and professional growth while supporting critical missions and operations.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and security.</li><li>Implement and enforce network security procedures and best practices to comply with DoD regulations.</li><li>Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related software and hardware systems, including Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and encryption devices.</li><li>Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.</li><li>Work with IP-based networking environments, including IPv4/IPv6 and IPSec VPNs.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of and apply standards related to 802.1x, 802.11, MAC bridging, traffic management, and data encryption.</li><li>Evaluate, develop, and sustain telecommunications infrastructure and ensure conformance with organizational IT policies and objectives.</li><li>Train users on basic network operations and escalate advanced issues to senior personnel when necessary.</li></ul><p><em>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.&#xa0;</em></p>",

          "text": "<ul><li>U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Top Secret&#xa0;Clearance</li><li>Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, OR two&#xa0;(2+) years of relevant experience working in an IT enterprise network engineering field.</li><li>IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per&#xa0;DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security,&#xa0;GICSP,&#xa0;GSEC, SSCP, etc.).</li><li>CompTIA Network+ CE or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent.</li><li>Proven leadership in managing complex network environments, including DoD networks.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and media access control systems.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices.</li><li>Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification</li><li>Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform.</li><li>Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls.</li><li>Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems.</li><li>Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.</li><li>Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.</li><li>A problem solver and troubleshooter&#xa0;who thrives in resolving&#xa0;complex problems.</li><li>Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary Range:&#xa0;</strong>$51,000 - $86,000</p><p>Several factors influence the final salary or hourly rate, including but not limited to contract wage determinations, relevant work experience, role-specific skills and competencies, geographic location, educational background, certifications, and federal government contract labor categories.</p>",
