Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#SIC</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI On-Site</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI-VB1</strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans new or modified installations to effectively and efficiently construct or repair wiring, fixture, or equipment consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.</li>\n <li>Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.</li>\n <li>Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.</li>\n <li>Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Establish and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.</li>\n <li>Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.</li>\n <li>Attend project planning / scheduling meetings.</li>\n <li>Analyze and resolves work problems.</li>\n <li>Maintain time records.</li>\n <li>Inspect quality of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.</li>\n <li>Rate information using personal judgment or standards that can be measured or checked.</li>\n <li>Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.</li>\n <li>Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.</li>\n <li>Perform frequent safety inspections of work area, equipment, tools, and employees in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program.   </li>\n <li>Appropriate journeyman experience required.</li>\n <li>Travel will be required.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Skilled in both written and verbal communication.</li>\n <li>Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.</li>\n <li>Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops and other elevated positions, as well as, confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position.</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.</li>\n <li>Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working in confined spaces with limited access, on ladders, in personnel lifts, in workboats, and working in awkward body positions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
