    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Under indirect supervision/assistance, this position is responsible for the daily maintenance operation of the site.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage the day-to-day operations of 3 or more employees, to ensure maintenance schedules are met in an efficient, safe, and employee-oriented manner.</li>\n <li>Manage and perform if necessary the daily system maintenance and repair of the applicable operation.</li>\n <li>Responsible for adherence to Company training programs.</li>\n <li>Direct supervision of all daily assignments. Schedule and supervise mechanics and/or technicians in the ground support equipment, facilities, boarding bridge and/or baggage handling areas.</li>\n <li>Review and monitor personnel assignments, including the issue and completion of work orders.</li>\n <li>Coordinate repairs, maintenance and overhauls with airport and airline staffs to minimize customer down time.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and manage daily preventive maintenance program.</li>\n <li>May assist with budgeting and finances at the site.</li>\n <li>May be responsible for parts inventory.</li>\n <li>Resolve technical issues.</li>\n <li>Maintain daily turnover reports.</li>\n <li>Maintains and develops the commitments of all employees to the quality of work they are performing and promotes the concept of zero defects and continuous improvement as operating modes.</li>\n <li>Train, develop and motivate maintenance site personnel toward the achievement of the Company objectives.</li>\n <li>Conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.</li>\n <li>Work according to Company regulations, procedures, and instruction from Management and as required by customer requirements.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates professionalism in their appearance, manner and communications with other company and/or customer personnel in a clear and precise manner.</li>\n <li>Monitor the Company’s Quality program in the station and ensure conformity and implementation of standards.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures on site and at any remote job site.       Coordination of safety matters with Company Safety Officer.</li>\n <li>Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction by keeping the customer in mind and by keeping the interests of the company at heart.</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li>3 years’ experience in a related trade.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and understand basic electrical/hydraulic schematics.</li>\n <li>Must have own set of hand tools common to the trade.</li>\n <li>Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Associate’s Degree in a related field</li>\n  <li>Previous work experience in an Airport environment.</li>\n  <li>Strong hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting experience.</li>\n  <li>State and/or ASE certification in automotive and diesel repair or associated field.</li>\n  <li>5+ years’ experience directly related to applicable position (i.e. GSE, conveyor, bridge, etc)</li>\n  <li>4+ years’ direct experience in a GSE Airport shop environment.</li>\n  <li>3 + years’ experience working in a CMMS.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>3 years’ experience in mentoring, guiding and directing employees in a similar job group.</li>\n <li>3 years’ experience in Leadership in a related field.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of general workplace safety requirements and procedures.</li>\n <li>Supervisory experience in and Airport environment.</li>\n <li>OSHA 10 or 30
