We are focused on providing exceptional customer service by committing our time, energy and professionalism to complete projects that enhance the quality of life, improve infrastructure and offer positive economic impacts to improve the communities where we serve, live and work.</p><p><strong>Summary</strong><br>This position will be responsible for water/wastewater projects across Arkansas. As a member of the team, you will be involved in planning, designing, and assisting with the management of a wide variety of projects. This position will serve as a key part of our water/wastewater team and will have the opportunity to work on challenging turnkey projects with an experienced design team while also gaining valuable knowledge from professional engineers with many years of experience.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Cost estimating and preliminary design</li><li>Assisting with funding applications and environmental studies</li><li>Perform detailed reviews, studies, analyses, etc., and prepares detailed report on results and findings</li><li>Developing construction plans and specifications</li><li>Performing detailed design calculations</li><li>Consulting with clients to obtain and relay information relating to projects</li><li>Assisting in the management of projects through construction</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field</li><li>EIT</li><li>Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures</li><li>Basic knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes</li><li>Initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment</li><li>Creativity</li><li>Problem solving</li><li>Time management and planning</li><li>Microsoft Office</li><li>Critical thinking skills</li><li>Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company&rsquo;s driving (MVR) policy. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Travel</strong></p><ul><li>Most travel is limited to short or day trips to visit jobsites, meet clients, etc. Overnight trips are not generally required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>MCE offers an excellent employee benefits package including:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive compensation with yearly performance reviews.</li><li>401(k) (Traditional &amp; Roth plans) with a guaranteed employer match of 100% up to the first 3% and 50% on the next 2% (eligibility at beginning of the quarter following 3 months&rsquo; employment)&nbsp;</li><li>PTO (Paid Time Off) &amp; 9 Paid Holidays&nbsp;</li><li>Tiered Health, Vision &amp; Dental Insurance Options (eligibility after 30 days)&nbsp;</li><li>Short-Term Disability Insurance (MCE self-insured)</li><li>Long-Term Disability Insurance (Employer paid)</li><li>Life Insurance and AD&amp;D Insurance</li><li>Flexible Spending Account &amp; Limited Flexible Spending Account</li><li>HSA Savings Account</li><li>Additional Optional Insurances Available</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p></div>\n",
