    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong> $18-19 per hour!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Maintenance Tech you will be responsible for all building, pool and grounds maintenance of a new 130 room Springhill Suites hotel adjacent to Carowinds Amusement Park. You will also be responsible for safety and security within the building and grounds all while ensuring the guest are well cared for and have a memorable stay experience while visiting the Carolinas! You'll also:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains the hotel building and equipment and to ensure guest-rooms are in complete working order and public areas are free from unsightly maintenance blemishes.</li>\n <li>Ensures that all public areas including hallways, pool area, fitness center, sports courts, banquet spaces, stairways, public restrooms, public access and lobby areas are in good repair and mechanically sound.</li>\n <li>Conducts preventative maintenance inspections as assigned and take corrective action as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.  Makes routine repairs to hotel equipment.</li>\n <li>Communicates with supervisor regarding status of repairs, guest-rooms, inventory levels, guest complaints, losses, and any unusual situations to maintain smooth operation.</li>\n <li>Completes various forms and department paperwork.
