    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>The Technician 2, Production, performs installation responsibilities reporting directly to the Production Control &amp; Maintenance Manager. They are required to have the ability to perform all installs that are offered by JPW Industries, assist the manager as requested. Requires moderate to heavy lifting, the moving of product to various locations within the warehouse, preparation of product for shipment, driving a forklift in a safe and responsible manner, and other duties required for the intended purpose of preparing product for a safe and damage-free shipment to the customer. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</u></strong></p><p><strong>REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS STATEMENT&nbsp;</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Must have the ability to perform the complete installation and testing of all designated non-CNC machine accessories and services.</li><li>Must be proficient with a variety of equipment to prepare trade-show displays.</li><li>Must be familiar with a variety of woodworking and &nbsp;metalworking equipment in order to assist with fabricating/modifying special machine components.</li><li>Must be certified to operate required types of equipment.</li><li>Basic knowledge of SAP, including RF devices if applicable.</li><li>Basic knowledge of Transportation functions.</li><li>Additional responsibilities and projects as may be assigned relevant to the position.</li></ul><p><strong><u>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><p><strong>EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES</strong></p><ul><li>High school graduate. Must have the ability to comprehend multiple instructions and perform basic math skills.</li></ul><p><strong>EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES</strong></p><ul><li>Must have knowledge of a body of rules, regulations, policies or operations requiring considerable training and experience to apply to a variety of standard situations.</li><li>Must have no lifting restrictions and be able to twist back and forth, and to push and pull product of any considerable weight.</li><li>Advanced &nbsp;understanding of machinery and hand and power tools, etc. is recommended.</li><li>Able to use power tools, manual tools, hand truck, forklift, electric cart, telephone, computer, copier and calculator.</li><li>Must adhere to company policy of wearing safety shoes at all times while working in the warehouse and adhering to safety rules</li><li>Work in the Installation area under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.</li><li>Physical activities include operating a forklift and/or hand truck, moving equipment from one place to another, the unloading of containers containing Large Lathes, Radial Drills.&nbsp;</li><li>There is moderate lifting required, anywhere from 25 pounds up to 125 pounds (with assistance) and the pushing and/or pulling of equipment.</li><li>The work involves some discomforts and unpleasantness such as moderate levels of noise and varying temperatures due to general warehouse conditions.</li><li>Interact with all personnel in the warehouse and distribution center, as needed.</li><li>Public contact consists of freight carrier personnel, customers, truck drivers and outside agencies.</li></ul><p><strong><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT</u></strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit for long periods; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel or crouch. The team member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. &nbsp;Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
